My brother bought the game and I played when he wasn't on (we only had one computer).
I started playing odd custom games (tower defences, life of a peasant, DotA, etc.) and eventually transitioned into melee.

Why did you join N?
Was on every other team, everything sucked except for N.

Why did you pick protoss?
I started playing Terran and played at an average level. Played Protoss and realized that I liked the matchups much more. The mechanics are also more suitable for my playstyle.
